Pav Bhaji
Mini Burgers with a twist of Pav Bhaji to it
A combination of Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, and Burger, this Mini Pav Bhaji burgers are very yummy. These buns are stuffed with vegetables and Pav Bhaji to make it more delicious. Also, these Mini Pav Bhaji burgers are like a new twist to the traditional burgers, and the guests are also sure to love the taste of these burgers. Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped capsicum
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup potatoes- boiled, peeled, and mashed
- 1/4 cup green peas- boiled
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji masala
- 2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon haldi powder
- Salt as per the taste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
- 6 small round burger buns
- Butter for brushing
- 4-5 onions, cut into rings
Making of Mini Pav Bhaji burgers:
1. We need to start off by making the stuffing for Mini Pav Bhaji burgers. So, for the stuffing, heat some butter in a non-stick pan or kadai. Once the butter is heated, add chopped onions and garlic paste and saute them for about a minute.
2. Once done with that, add capsicum and let them cook until they are softened. Once the capsicum gets softened, add tomatoes and let them cook until soft and mushy.
3. Add mashed potatoes and peas. Mix all the ingredients well. Now, add red chilli powder, Pav Bhaji masala, haldi powder and mix again. Now, using a potato masher, mash all the vegetables evenly. Let the bhaji cook for about a minute or two.
4. Now, take the burger bun and cut into two halves. Then apply some butter on the insides of each burger bun and then toast them on a tawa. Then, toast the upper part of the burger on a tawa. Make sure that the flame is low.
5. Now, place a portion of bhaji on the bun. Then place an onion ring on the bhaji. You can also put other vegetables of your choice. Now, put the other half of the bun on it.
6. In the same manner, prepare other burgers and once ready, serve them hot. You can serve them with spicy green chutney or sauce.
