Ingredients for Jhangore ki Kheer:
- barnyard millet-300 gm
- milk-5 cup
- raisins-30 gm
- sugar-150 gm
- cashews-30 gm
- kewra essence-2 drops
How to prepare Jhangore ki Kheer:
Step 1) Begin by cleaning the Jhangora (barnyard millet), then soak it into the water for some time. In the meantime, bring a deep vessel & boil milk on the moderate flame.
Step 2) Once the milk is boiled, smoothly drop soaked jhangora into milk when stirring it continuously. Ensure there are no lumps generated. Then, drop the sugar & mix the components properly. Cook on the moderate flame till sugar dissolves thoroughly.
Step 3) Now, drop kewra essence & combine it properly with a big spoon. Cook till you get the expected consistency. Detach from the flame. Decorate it with cashews & raisins. Serve it warm. Enjoy it with your friends and family.
