Ingredients for Paneer Jalfrezi:
Paneer - 150 gm
Medium sliced onion - one
Tomato - 1/2 cup
Refined oil - two tbsp
Crushed to paste green chili - two
Garlic paste - 6 cloves
Salt as per requirement
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Water - one cup
Carrot - 1/2 cup
Capsicum - 1/2 cup
Green beans - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/2 inch
Tomato puree - 1/4 cup
Powdered turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
For Garnishing:
Chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
How to prepare Paneer Jalfrezi:
Step 1) At the beginning, cut all the veggies & paneer into two-inch pieces.
Step 2) Now, heat oil into a deep non-stick vessel over the moderate flame & have cumin seeds into it. Allow them to crackle for a while & then have sliced onion into it. Sauté till the onions become brown in color.
Step 3) POst that, add garlic-ginger paste into the vessel along with green chili paste & fry for one minute. Now, have tomato paste, turmeric, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder & garam masala powder. Combine properly & cook for another two mins.
Step 4) Next, have all the veggies & fry for two mins. Now have sliced tomatoes & paneer cubes into the vessel.
Step 5) Then, pour one cup of water into the pan & cook around two minutes. Cook till the gravy becomes thick one.
Step 6) Once gravy turns thick, garnish using coriander leaves.
Step 7) Next paneer jhalfrezi is prepared & serve hot with tawa roti or rice or paratha.
