Holy Text: Gujarati community in India has their beliefs highly vested in religion. Hence, they usually keep holy verses from the Hindu holy book or other quotes related to religion. It is considered a good omen for the wedding to have religious texts in the wedding card.

Request of presence: The holy texts are followed by a quote that can be personally provided by the wedding party or can be a template. Either way this area contains text requesting the presence of the invited people.

Name of the bride and groom: The name of the bride and groom are written in bold letters and are highlighted. The goal is to make the names of bride and groom the most striking text that is on the card. The usual custom is to write the name of the groom before the bride.

Date and Time: The date and the time of commencement of the ceremony are all mentioned in the card as well. If there is a host of events organised, then the detailed breakup of the time slots is also provided.

Location: The location, often with the help of a miniature map, is explained in the detail along with the full address. This helps the invited people to locate the place of ceremony easily.
